Hi Fi sound quality and flat frequency response is great for drum, keyboards and even small PA applications. FEATURES: 180 watts RMS, 15 full-range speaker, 2 driver horn - 4 channel mixer, stereo input per channel - Stereo inputs can be used for up to 8 channels - Channel 4 assignable ----- line, speaker or headphone - Stereo link I/O for chaining two KC-550's for stereo stage sound, XLR & 1/4 stereo output jacks. Power. Portability. Utility. Clean, punchy, hi-fi sound. Roland's old KC-line of amplifiers had all of that. But the new KC-series, including the KC-550, has raised the bar once again. More Power...The KC-550 sports a 15 inch speaker and horn tweeter, and has 180 watts of power. This equates to great sound, and plenty of volume. It works well as a keyboard monitor on stage, or even as a small P.A. More Utility...A 4 channel stereo mixer handles your inputs, and Roland has included an XLR microphone input as well. Going further, the KC-550 offers a few different outputs, including a pair of XLR balanced outputs. Need more bass response? A dedicated subwoofer output creates an easy way to connect to a subwoofer. And Roland's Stereo Link feature allows for a convenient way to tie two KC-550's together, with minimum fuss. Hearing Is Believing...This amp sounds good. Period. But you have the option to sweeten your sound further with a 3-band EQ, and a new Shape function, which is similar to the Loudness button on your home stereo. The result is crisp, punchy sound that is well designed for the high fidelity of today's synthesizer and keyboard products. True, the KC-550 is heavy. But due to the included caster wheels, moving it around is relatively easy. The bottom line is that the KC-550 delivers. If you demand a lot out of your keyboard amp, the KC-550 is ready for the challenge.
