I just want to say thanks a lot guys for helping me build my dream kit. It all started when I went in to see Chris about adding a 16" tom to my 5 piece kit. After seeing the cost for just one drum, Chris mentioned to me that he had a huge used Premier kit out back. I had always been a large drumkit player so I checked it out. Well, once I saw them, I knew I had to have them. Chris made me a nice deal on them and I remember Shane saying to me as we were loading them into my truck " hey Joe, let us know when you want to add on the the kit". Of course he was joking because the kit was already quite big, but little did he know.

I spent the winter thinking up what I wanted to do with this kit and Chris, Luc, and Shane were all very helpfull and attentive in finding me what I was looking for. They delt with my many e-mails for price quote's and were always very quick in responding to my questions. They also gave me the best prices anywhere. Belive me I searched the internet looking for great pirces , and no one beat the Drum Shops prices. Any way I am loving this kit, my enthusiasm for Drumming is back more then ever before. ( I haden't touched my 5 pice kit for 2 and a half years) Now I'm playing every day again so Thanks guy's I really appreciate all the help.

Here's the kit The Drum Shop and I put together. Just updated the pic's. Here's the kit with the new gongand 3rd kick.

Good god man, that's friggen awesome. That had to cost a sweet penny, damn. Mine trembles to that one, but it's ok. Mine's fun, and a damn good first set, I think. I just need to get some decent pics of it, which is hard to do when it is stuck in the corner of my bedroom under the window. But yea, I like it.

That looks like my old kit, right down to the RUSH logo!

Does Mike Portnoy know that you too ordered "One with everything?" (The Dali Lama of drums) Very Happy

That kit looks great, and it must be a blast to play! Cool

In my advanced decrepitude, I have reduced my 17-piece monster down to this:

8,10,12,14,16,18 toms *ONE* 22x18 kick and a pair of octabans.

I am getting a new kit this summer with better maple shells. I'd have to say Shane and the Portland drum shop set the example for other to follow!
