Will,
I posted the kit in the Sound/video studio under customer kits, so all the world can see it in all it's glory!

Jeremy,
It depends on what sound you're going for. With the right combination of heads & tuning, you can make any drum sound the way you want, but here's some info to go from:
Birch (BRX) = high attack, deep, fat lows, shorter sustain, microphone-friendly
Maple = less attack, but greater warmth and fullness, increased carrying power without the use of mic's, longer sustain
Within Maple: MRX = more power, more definition of tone
MMX = slightly increased low end
Hope this helps! _________________ www.lucbergerondrums.com

| I've got the BRX myself, and love the kit. If you are going to use it out, I would say the Maple kit. It's louder from what I've heard from it. Whenever I play out with the BRX, it's Bassdrum is not as loud as some of the other drummer's kits, and they use maple. But the sound it has is Excellent... But thats just me. I could be partially Deaf... |
