I am looking into a new snare drum and i was looking for sugestions on which ones to try. I currently have a 5 x 14 1975 sonor phonic snare which is really nice but im looking for something new. Probably something deeper. Also what type of wood would give me a lower sound that almost has a punch rather than a crack. Thanks a lot.
Tony
