Jefe-
I think the S Class would make a great bop kit! Great sound and looks. The only drawback is the lack of options in the depths of the drums.

What you are really paying for is the options.
Here's a break down
S Class-Chinese Maple shell, Chinese lugs-the rest is German made, and the kit is assembled in Germany. They make all tom sizes in ONE "power" depth. (10x9,12x10,etc.)
Delite-100% German. 7 different finishes. 2 tom depth options. (10x8,10x9,12x9,12x10 etc) Very high end kit.
Designer- 100% German. 4600 different color options. Your choice of lugs (long or short) Choice of Maple or Birch. Unlimited tom, snare and bass drum depths.
DRUM DESIGN-this will replace the Designer. It's the same as Designer, but you can choose, Maple, Birch, or Beech. You can use Designer, Delite, or Sclass shells. (Steve Smith just ordered a kit with S Class shells.) Unlimited tom, snare and bass drum depths. You can choose Gold, Chrome, Satin, or Black Chrome hardware.

Hope this helps. Feel free to ask any more questions. Also, as a footnote, ALL German Sonor will be having another price increase as of the first of the year. If you want to get one-I encourage you to at least put a deposit down to assure that you get it at this years price. That will get the set ordered.

Jeff-
The quote has been prepared and should be in your inbox. We actually had a kit in those sizes-as well as a 6.5x14 to go along with it, except it was a 10x8 and a 12x8. Those drums were amazing!
