In the interest of starting some discussions around here...

I know, I know, many of us will never really reach the point where we feel our gear arsenal is absolutely complete. I thought I might have, about a year ago, but still in the back of my mind there were some things I still wanted to own.

Drummers, of all musicians, seem to constantly have a case of the "GAS" = Gear Acquisition Syndrome. Just ask Shane. Wink

My question to you all:
What items (mostly meaning drums and cymbals) are on your to-get list? Specifically, what sounds do you want to add to your arsenal?

My list (not in order of importance):
1) Tempus C/F snare
2) Dunnett SS snare
(one of these two will be a 5.5x13 hopefully)
3) smaller Tempus kick drum for my kit (18 or 20)
4) Brady snare (maybe Jarrah...not sure)
5) Sabian HH or Zildjian K or Istanbul etc. 10" splash
6) Sabian HH Raw Bell Dry Ride
7) Bronze or Copper shell snare -- gotta find a good deal!
Cool Brass shell snare (hopefully a Supra)

If this is like a wish list I'd be topping my list with a new house with an extra room big enough for a band to practice in, filled with recording and sound equipment . . .

But, more realistically - I want to get a set of Timbales with a stand and as many bells, woodblocks, and other noise makers I could hang off it.

A cowbell holder that is played with a bass drum pedal. (they must have a name)

A good set of double bass drum pedals.

Remote hihat stand.

AND - we can never have enough cymbals . . . little ones, flat rides, china inverted . . .
