In case you haven't yet picked up a copy of The Phoenix's "Best of Portland" issue this week, I
thought you might be interested to know that Portland Buy Local garnered top honors from readers
in the "Best Local Cause" category.

Keep Portland local! Isn't it nice to have a rallying cry everyone can get behind? Everyone except all
those big-box chains that rule the world. Aren't they having closed-door meetings right now
deciding how to microchip us? Well, BUY LOCAL is on to something: support local entrepreneurs,

There is a drum forum I like visiting (besides this one) and just recently they added a banner stating "Support Your Local Drum Shop." I couldn't agree more.

I sure hope the addition of that place in South Portland hasn't hurt you guys. I can't know, but it seems to me your customer base would be fairly loyal.
