Hi folks,

Emails will be going out soon regarding a couple of clinics we have scheduled for May and June.

The first is DENNIS CHAMBERS (!!!) on Monday May 3rd. It will be held at the Double Tree Hotel on outer Congress St. in Portland (where we had the Marco Minnemann and the Roland Rabb/Snyder Soundlab clinics). This is sure to be a mind-blower... Tickets on sale now at the shop for $10.00.

The second is the "Sabian Vault Tour." Exclusive to Five-Star drum dealers, this will provide a unique opportunity for you to see the actual manufacturing processes of Sabian cymbals, and hand-select your own cymbal setup. You will have the chance to touch, smell and taste 300 different models, as well as talk to cymbal master craftsman and cymbal selector Mark Love (this is the man who matches all the sets), as well as see hammering & lathing in action. At the end of the day, there will be a clinic by the world's ambassador to drumming, DOM FAMULARO! This event will happen at the shop.

Then, on June 30th, we have the amazing THOMAS LANG in clinic! This guy is a complete technical wizard, and the stuff he's capable of playing will leave you shaking your head in disbelief. It will also be at the Double Tree.

DON'T HATE YOURSELF IN THE MORNING BECAUSE YOU MISSED THESE GREAT EVENTS! BE THERE!!

Save me a ticket for Thomas Lang. That dude is just plain amazing. I finally watched disc 2 of his DVD set and the foot work is mindblowing. Actually everything he does is mindblowing. I'd like to ask him something: Hey Thomas, how did you get so damn good??????
